The CSW is dedicated to promoting gender equality and empowering women worldwide.
How can the Commission accelerate progress and break barriers?
Delegates will address education, economic participation, and the fight against gender-based violence.
Will new strategies create lasting impact?
As digital technologies transform every aspect of modern life, the digital divide
has emerged as a new frontier of gender inequality. Women and girls face
unique challenges online, including targeted harassment, cyberbullying, and
exclusion from digital opportunities. Globally, women are less likely to own
smartphones or access the internet, and are underrepresented in technology-
related fields. This committee will address the systemic barriers that perpetuate
digital poverty and gender-based discrimination in cyberspace. Delegates will
consider strategies to promote digital inclusion, ensure safe online
environments, and empower women and girls as creators and leaders in the
digital economy. The agenda calls for robust policy frameworks, public-private
partnerships, and investments in digital literacy and infrastructure to close the
gender digital gap and realize the full potential of the digital revolution for all.
